The following course is designed for school-aged learners wishing to progress towards higher English language qualifications. The course aims to prepare students for the Cambridge English Key examination, also known as the Key English Test (KET), a basic-level qualification which demonstrates language proficiency at Level A2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It is an ideal course for those new to learning English, equipping them with the necessary confidence to study for higher Cambridge English exams like Preliminary and First.

Language learners at A2 Level possess the necessary skills to deal with basic everyday situations. They can understand simple written English, such as short notices and signs, emails, leaflets and magazines. In this course, learners practise letter writing and form completion, they learn to express opinions and have short conversations with friends about familiar topics. The course fosters students’ abilities to use English to communicate in simple everyday situations, allowing them to talk and write about their daily lives, hobbies, holidays, likes and dislikes.
